We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that include maintaining customer records, processing applications, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure accurate accounting closures monthly through the General Ledger system and validate the pass-through to the regulatory ledger.
• Foster and maintain relationships with Operations and Finance, providing proactive analysis and support.
• Direct and assist staff in preparing mandatory external financial reports for FERC, state regulators, shareholders, and others ensuring compliance with reporting and accounting requirements.
• Educate, train, and support business areas with regards to accounting policies, ensuring these policies and procedures are applied and implemented.
• Manage the creation and maintenance of standard recurring journal entries, and ensure month-end account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed accurately.
• Recruit and retain a highly trained and motivated team, establishing and communicating clear performance expectations.
• Oversee the documentation and testing of Sarbanes Oxley controls, and coordinate internal and external audit activities.• At least 5 years of experience in Accounting Management and Supervision within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry
• Proficiency in managing all Accounting Functions including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Demonstrated skills in Supervisory Management, with a focus on team leadership, performance management, and employee development
• Proven track record in ensuring Regulatory Compliance within the accounting sector
• Experience in Public Accounting Audit, including managing audit processes and liaising with auditors
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certification like CPA, CMA, or similar is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
