Job Overview:

We are seeking an innovative and driven leader to define the technical vision and strategy for our autonomous driving division. As CTO, you will spearhead advancements in perception algorithms, guiding the development of cutting-edge AI technologies that drive innovation from hardware design to algorithm implementation.

This leadership role focuses on research and technology, with a strong emphasis on shaping the future of autonomous driving. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our products and services by leading high-level technical initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of advanced deep learning perception algorithms, including object detection, lane detection, and depth estimation.
  • Define the technical strategy and roadmap to push the boundaries of autonomous driving technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and integrate algorithms onto AI chips.
  • Stay ahead of trends in machine learning and computer vision, introducing groundbreaking innovations.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in research, encouraging the publication of patents and technical papers.
  • Mentor and inspire engineering teams to align their work with company goals and product strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in autonomous driving technology.
  • Strong R&D expertise in AI, deep learning, computer vision, object detection, or sensor fusion.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and drive research initiatives.
  • Experience addressing technical trade-offs in performance, power, and flexibility.
  • Familiarity with AI accelerator architecture or AI chip design is a plus.
  • A passion for autonomous driving and a visionary outlook on its future.
