As a Strategic Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be at the forefront of driving sales and profit growth for our esteemed commercial brand, Kress. Your role will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, from prospecting and training to creating effective sales strategies and keeping up with the latest industry trends that may influence our offerings. Your expertise and previous sales experience will allow you to communicate the Positec commercial business model effectively to dealers, resellers, and end customers.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and nurture robust relationships with prospective dealers and internal channel partners to consistently meet and exceed sales objectives for Kress.
Lead dealer recruitment efforts in your designated territory to achieve market share targets and expand the RTK antenna network.
Clearly articulate the Positec commercial business model to dealers and demonstrate product offerings to potential customers.
Utilize provided tools and resources, including the Kress Dealer Portal and HubSpot, to enhance the Kress business.
Address dealer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Facilitate training sessions for dealer personnel to enhance their product knowledge.
Analyze sales and marketing metrics to determine effective business development techniques.
Create innovative sales strategies to boost growth within your assigned dealer territory.
Conduct surveys to gain insights into dealer needs and preferences.
Represent the company at trade shows to showcase our products and services.
Ensure brand presence within your dealer territory aligns with company expectations.
Monitor competitors’ sales activities within your designated area to remain competitive.
Perform additional duties as needed to support overall business development efforts.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in managing a Sales Territory and driving customer engagement as a sales leader, business development manager, or territory manager.
Proven track record of developing and expanding a Sales Territory through new customer acquisition and existing customer growth. Industry experience in OPE is not mandatory.
Capability to implement effective sales strategies, including elucidating the Positec business model.
Strong performance in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Solid business acumen to communicate the Positec Commercial Business model effectively.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
