Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ORGANIZATIONAL AND WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT SECTION of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will analyze an organization or management function to identify processes or procedures to improve organizational structure. You will brief evaluation findings to managers. You will recommend process improvements to gain desired results in the areas of civilian personnel processes. You will develop strategic plans based on information from performing quantitative or qualitative analyses. You will develop written material documenting results of analyses. You will provide information and advice to employees, supervisors, and managers regarding civilian workforce development programs, options, opportunities, and costs. You will devise innovative and aggressive organizational and workforce strategies to build and retain an effective civilian workforce. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-09 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing appropriate data collection methods such as independent research, interviews, observations, and surveys to identify findings, needs and viable recommendations. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advice regarding workforce development, assisting with the design and development of training programs, and diagnosing organizational and workforce issues in order to identify solutions. Education GS-11: I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR I have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled OR I have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
