Recruiter - Battery Manufacturing Plant

Forge Nano Inc. is a fast-growing materials company with a focus on manufacturing nano-scale coatings across a wide range of markets and is now expanding into Battery Manufacturing. Forge Nano is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruiter to oversee the recruitment of all positions for our Battery Plant currently proposed to come online in the mid to late 2025 timeframe. This position will report into the Corporate Human Resources department with dotted line responsibility to the COO of the Battery Manufacturing Plant, ultimately enabling the Forge Nano brand to be recognized for the Highest Quality Batteries made in USA. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization from all communities within the Raleigh-Durham area.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process from job description development, compensation analyses, job posting, and interviewing to onboarding.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Uses company applications to run compensation analyses on all positions prior to posting.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Uses ATS platform for job postings.
  • Works closely with community partners to advertise and fill some positions.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Guides candidates and hiring managers through all aspects of the application pipeline process.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Serves as the company's representative with Forge's educational and community partners and assists the Community Benefits Plan Manager with building and strengthening these relationships.
  • Assists with other HR related duties as assigned by corporate HR.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and onboarding process required.
  • 1 -2 years of HRBP experience in a variety of HR subfunctions (benefits, compensation, employee relations, etc.)
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR or PHR preferred.
  • SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
  • Experience in a start up environment preferred.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be in an office or manufacturing environment. A balance of remote and onsite work is expected, as dictated by the needs of the work required. The employee will be required to wear appropriate safety PPE including but not limited to eye protection, gloves, steel toe shoes, lab coat, and a hard hat. Strict adherence to corporate and/or plant policies, rules and regulations in these areas is required. Forge Nano follows all recommended COVID-19 safety protocols and accepted candidates must be willing to adhere to these policies.

The employee occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear (communicate). The employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

TRAVEL

Frequent travel (25% to 50%) may be required locally. Travel to the Corporate Headquarters in Thornton, Colorado may be required on a quarterly or semi-annual basis.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

85K - 95K depending on experience
