QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED required
At least five years experience
Dependable and cooperative
Able to read blue prints and schematics
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safe operation and maintenance of all welding systems in the district.
- Inspect and repair playground, and athletic equipment and other metal structures.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of welding supplies and materials.
- Ensure that all work orders are successfully completed and submitted to office staff in a timely manner.
- Performs repair on bleachers as needed.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- District vehicle, two-way radios, welding machines, cutting torch, grinder, drill press, chopping saw, and electric hand tools

- Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing, heavy lifting and carrying, exposure to extreme weather conditions, working in high places using ladders, working on uneven and slippery surfaces, exposure to fumes and gases
