The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (SOM) in Baltimore is looking for a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to join its Division of Midwifery. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established group of 8 CNMs who provide full-scope care for our midwifery clients in several ambulatory care offices and at our affiliated hospital, the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) where our CNM team offers 24/7/365 coverage. In addition to clinical duties, the successful candidate will participate in educational activities of the Department for residents and medical students and have the opportunity to be a preceptor for midwifery students. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate: * Strong commitment to care for patients from diverse backgrounds * Interest in providing resident, medical student, and midwifery education * Experience and/or interest in collaborative practice within a multi-disciplinary health team * Professionalism, effective communication and continuous practice improvement The successful candidate will be hired at the level of Instructor, Non-Tenure Track in the Department of OBGYN. Requirements: * Master’s degree with AMCB certification as a nurse-midwife * At least two to three years of relevant experience * Currently have or eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland UMB is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
