Antillean Marine Shipping Corp is hiring: Janitor maintenance (Part-Time) in Mia

The Janitor maintenance will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room and high-traffic areas in our 4 locations.

Hiring 2 position Part-time 1st and 2nd shift (1st shift 11AM to 4PM, 2nd Shift 3PM to 8PM)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria.
• Empty trash cans and sweep and mop all 4 building locations.
• Maintains a neat and orderly janitors room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
• Washes windows and outside main building entrance is clean
• Assists in examining premises for safety hazards, reports deficiencies to maintenance
• Restock main building mini fridge (meeting room. Training Room, Conference room)
• Will need to use your own car to travel from office to office (less than 5 minutes away)
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to keep the premises clean and orderly.
• Ability to interact with staff while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
