We are seeking a passionate and experienced Global Supply Chain Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Program Manager to lead initiatives that enhance our supply chain's ESG performance and compliance. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives to develop, implement, and manage processes that support Mativ's current and future regulations in conjunction with Mativ's supply chain and operational goals.
responsibilities:
- Program Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement supply chain programs that fulfill Mativ's regulatory and commercial ESG obligations.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Align with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Commercial, and Legal teams on messaging, policy alignment and regulatory obligations to advance Mativ's ESG compliance and objectives.
- Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about current and upcoming ESG-related regulations, such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), REACH, and Modern Slavery Acts, that may impact Mativ's global supply chain and operations.
- System Enhancements: Work with IT resources and subject matter experts to implement system-based enhancements required for ESG and regulatory reporting.
- Internal Support: Assist key internal stakeholders in understanding and implementing supply chain strategies that align with Mativ's ESG sustainability strategy.
- Sourcing Initiatives: Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing teams to drive ESG requirements and initiatives throughout Mativ's supply base.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, proactively identify risks, and support ESG-focused supplier scorecards.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor supplier adherence to compliance standards and support internal and external audits.
- Outreach Coordination: Design, manage, and coordinate outreach activities to suppliers and customers regarding ESG policy changes.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Program Management.
- Experience in building processes, project management, and transformation for large global organizations.
- This role will be hybrid base out of Mativ's Alpharetta Headquarters.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Power Platform is a plus).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with compliance management software.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- Certifications in supply chain or compliance (e.g., CSCP, CCEP, Lean/Six Sigma, etc.).
- Experience supporting ESG/sustainability focused initiatives.
