We are offering a contract for an Accounting Assistant position in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be tasked with managing contracts, handling accounts payable and receivable, and overseeing payroll for a small team. This role plays a critical part in our financial services industry, where you will use various accounting software systems, including ADP, CaseWare, and Concur, to ensure our financial operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all contracts, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments
• Oversee payroll for a small team, ensuring all payments are processed correctly and on time
• Utilize various accounting software systems, including ADP, CaseWare, and Concur, to streamline financial operations
• Execute accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Perform auditing tasks as needed, ensuring financial integrity and identifying any discrepancies
• Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to optimize financial operations and improve efficiency.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must
• Familiarity with CaseWare software is required
• Ability to use Concur for expense reporting is necessary
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial
• Understanding of basic Accounting Functions is needed
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is vital
• Capability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) is important
• Skills in Auditing are highly desirable
• Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations is mandatory
