Your Opportunity as the Analyst, Retirement Benefits (DB)

You will be responsible for supporting Defined Benefits (DB) administration, processing pension-related paperwork and participant changes, administering non-qualified DB plans and handling monthly contributions for multi-employer plans. You will support census reports and government filings, address employee help cases, and monitor and update systems accordingly. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in analytical thinking, time management, and opportunities for process improvements.

Location:Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)

Work Arrangements: hybrid, 30% in office expectation

In this role you will:

  • Support Defined Benefits (DB) administration

  • Prepare pension and incoming pension related paperwork

  • Process participant changes to pensions (direct deposit, tax withholding, address)

  • Administer non-qualified Defined Benefits (DB) plans

  • Process monthly contributions for multiemployer plans

  • Approve benefit events in Workday HR software system

  • Support census reports & government filings

  • Address help cases submitted by employees

  • Monitor address and death search vendor results and update all systems accordingly

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to personal information

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

  • Pension administration experience (inclusive of internships)
