Job Purpose:
The Financial Analyst will support Wilcox Communities' mission by contributing to financial planning, modeling, and performance evaluation for our multi-family development projects and property portfolio. This position is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making and securing capital to sustain the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Create and maintain detailed financial models for real estate development projects, acquisitions, and portfolio performance.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets, monitor performance metrics, and provide variance analysis.
  • Capital Sourcing: Collaborate on raising equity and securing debt financing, including preparing financing packets and maintaining relationships with lenders and investors.
  • Reporting: Generate routine and ad-hoc financial reports for leadership review and decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes and collaborate with IT to improve reporting tools and data integrity.
  • Compliance: Oversee compliance with loan covenants and partnership agreements, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Market Research: Analyze market assumptions for rents, expenses, and cap rates to support development strategies.
  • Public Incentives: Work on public finance strategies, including tax increment financing (TIF), tax abatements, and other public funding opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in multi-family real estate development.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience working with public incentives and real estate finance is a plus.
