Job Description Summary: This is technical leadership position within a Rockwell Automation\'s product R&D organization reporting to Senior Manager, Power and Embedded Control Systems. Setting the foundation for future generations of Rockwell\'s power control business product portfolio. You will lead development of system firmware architectural specifications for new products, optimizing and balancing the following goals: product cost, performance, security, simplicity, time to market, reusability, maintainability, safety, and overall user experience at launch and throughout a product\'s lifecycle. This role is systems architecture role involving designing solutions that work for multiple products in our portfolio and supporting product architects to refine details for specific products. A background in embedded software development and real-time control systems and a systems mindset is required. Your Responsibilities: Design embedded systems architecture, functional interfaces and define system integration requirements, while partnering with other functional architects to deliver new product concepts that support a common architecture vision strategy.
