IT Support Specialist

What You’ll Do: Identify, diagnose, and resolve level one issues in computer hardware and software. Install and upgrade hardware and software and provide complete assistance while configuring hardware, software, and peripherals of the end user systems. Provide general desktop support, release coordination, imaging/re-imaging PCs, and laptops. Provide one-on-one assistance to end users by chat, phone, email, or in person. Coordinate with third-party service providers for timely repair of hardware under maintenance agreements or warranties. Perform minor hardware repairs for hardware outside of third-party support. Aid in the installation of other peripherals like printers, scanners, etc. Track the use and restock inventory for items such as laptops, mice, keyboards, docking stations, monitors, and IP phones. Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Working knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, WinPE, Android, and iOS, for basic use and troubleshooting. Firm understanding of Microsoft Office; Microsoft 365 experience a plus, including Active Directory user management, resetting passwords, and adding new users. Previous experience creating, deploying, and managing both OS images and software packages preferred. Basic networking knowledge. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure. Capable of multitasking between tickets, walk-ups, and other projects. We offer: Competitive wage compensation. Paid time off + holidays.
