The Systems Integration & Test: Environments Center includes all the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test on all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization, and engineering laboratory management.
Raytheon is seeking a
Senior Analyst Support Engineer
to manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects and day-to-day administrative functions within multiple engineering labs, with specific focus on safety, security, and compliance using established doctrine and governance. You will be creative and innovative, possessing strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
This position is an onsite role in Woburn, MA. Travel as needed to support mission and program execution, locally within Northeast, as well as business travel to other US locations.
What You Will Do
Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment
Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Oversee audit/assessment preparation and develop corrective action plans
Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation
Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
Work to influence stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Work autonomously with limited oversight
This position requires some physical exertion while standing, sitting, or walking
Local travel in the general area is required, with occasional travel outside the local area
What You Will Learn
Time management skills resulting from broad administrative management responsibilities
Diverse horizontal and vertical communication skills
Qualifications You Must Have
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum
2
years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum
2
years experience
Experience in an engineering lab environment area such as: safety, security, compliance and/or property management
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment
Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
