Position description
The UCLA Department of Ophthalmology invites applications for faculty in cornea with primary activities at sites served by the UCLA Health Department of Ophthalmology including Doheny Eye Centers-UCLA and other UCLA Health-affiliated clinics and hospitals. Applicants should be dedicated to teaching, exemplary patient care, professional activities, creative contributions to administrative, academic or research activities, and service to the University and to the profession. Candidates must be board eligible and immediately eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of California.
Further, the Search Committee also seeks candidates committed to equity, diversity and inclusion and we welcome candidates who have experience in and who have demonstrated commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds and to improving access to higher education for disadvantaged students through teaching and mentoring activities.
