Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for covering both inpatient and outpatient services, with a focus on delivering high-quality care across a range of OB/GYN procedures and services.
Required Procedures:
Fetal monitoring Management of low-risk pregnancies, including histories of twins, toxemia, and pyelonephritis Fetal heart rate interpretation-NST/CST/FSE OB ultrasounds-performance and interpretation Routine delivery-vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section Complicated delivery-C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology procedures including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures-tubal ligation, LOAs, chromic intubation Operative/major procedures-ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs Facility Features:
Modern birthing center with 16 LDRP rooms Level II Nursery and dedicated surgical suite Outpatient office located on campus Rotating call schedule of 1:4 Partnership with local FQHC for community care Support from seasoned RNs and staff Practice Statistics:
The goal of 3 physicians with support from APPs 40-50% low-risk pregnancies, 50-60% high-risk pregnancies 30% C-section rate GYN surgery and patient volume tailored to physician's comfort Compensation and Benefits:
