Family Farm and Home is a family owned and operated company based out of Michigan. Our first stores opened their doors in April 2002. Currently we operate 71 retail locations in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland and Pennsylvania. We cater to our customers' needs by supplying a wide variety of products in departments such as tools, hardware, automotive, pet, work and casual clothing, footwear, farm supplies, horse and livestock feed, bird food, lawn and garden, and alternative heating.

The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for daily cycle counts and row audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, Include but are not limited to:

1. Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
2. Responsible for managing and protecting all inventory and company assets in accordance with company policy against theft and damage.
3. Receive goods and ensure they correlate to the accompanying delivery documents.
4. Ability to transport product via the hi-lo to and from trucks and locations.
5. Ensure safety, accuracy and productivity at all times.
6. Ability to transfer product not only physically but within the computer inventory management system.
7. Maintain 99.7% accuracy inventory numbers.
8. Maintain inventory levels at maximum capacity on fixed space.
9. Coordinate between dispatch and the dock for in and out bound loads to ensure safe and timely shipments.
10. Keep warehouse area clean on a consistent basis.
11. All other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official.

Warehouse Auditor Requirements:

A successful Warehouse Auditor will be responsible for implementing strategic decisions while unloading and loading freight and providing service to our stores. This position requires an individual to be extremely dexterous as he will be required to operate warehouse equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations. A Warehouse Auditor must be able to bend, twist, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs. Good communication and time management skills as well as an attention to detail are a must for this position. A Family Farm and Home Warehouse Auditor will perform duties in a safe manner, following all Family Farm and Home safety procedures. Previous computer knowledge/training in a warehouse inventory system as well as Windows, Microsoft Office is a plus.
