Near Orland Park, IL - 4 days On-site, Full-time Role

Objective:

As the HR Generalist / HR Analyst, you will play an essential role in facilitating human resource processes across the organization. Your mission will include developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiencies and assisting with change management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of HR duties across recruitment, employment law compliance, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Manage routine HR inquiries and handle the administrative execution of human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, recommending corrective actions.
  • Utilize HRIS for maintaining accurate employee records and assist in recruitment and onboarding processes as required.

  • Thorough understanding of HR principles and comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in human resources.
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity.
