Manufacturing Department At Beacon Engineered Solutions

Position: Manufacturing Team Leader
Location: Beacon Engineered Solutions - MN
Employment Type: Full Time

The Team Leader’s primary responsibilities are to perform all assigned tasks in a manner that supports our Company Mission “To deliver exceptional services, engineered solutions, and quality products on time.”

Essential Functions

• Support meeting all operator training needs.
• Provide input to Supervisor on team member performance.
• Support consistent and complete administration of Beacon’s policies.
• Attend all scheduled shift meetings and huddles.
• Ensure and maintain a safe work environment for all Beacon employees.
• Assist Operators, CMO’s, and/or Supervisor in troubleshooting process problems.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to Supervisor.
• Help relieve other operators during break periods.
• Complete any task that is asked of you by your Supervisor.
• Capable of filling in as a Supervisor on an as-needed basis.
• Advise next Team Leader of any information about press or molded parts.
• Assist other Team Leaders and your Supervisor in meeting the production schedule each day.
• Actively promote the 5-S program.
• Enter all production into the system and reconcile at the end of the shift, entering scrap and downtime reasons during the shift.
• Review quality rejects with Supervisor.
• Ensure operators complete attribute charts and assist operators with questions regarding recording data.
• Achieve 100% completion of SPC, Attribute Charts, and Audits.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs.
• Good mechanical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Certified Molding Operator completed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with measuring tools helpful.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Self-motivated team player.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as Certified Molding Operator.

Pay with Overnight Shift Differential: $21.75/hr to $23.00/hr
