**ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER**

40 hours per week (full time)

Responsibilities

+ Coating candy with chocolate, includes: tempering chocolate, cutting slabs of candy, boxing finished product

+ Responsible for operating and basic maintenance of equipment

+ Cooking caramel candy

+ Production of other candiese.g., pour mints

+ Warehouse management

+ Fork lift operation

+ Purchasing ingredients

+ Marketing jobs, includes: preparing annual catalog and periodic email blasts, some work with website

+ Managing shipping department late November December

Qualifications

+ Focus and coordination to work at high-speed candy assembly line for an uninterrupted 75 minutes

+ Physical strength able to lift 20 - 50 lbs.

+ Team player able to work well with others on candy crews and with production manager

+ Good communication skills

+ Flexibility and adaptability required for doing a variety of jobs

+ Comfortable working in a quiet environment
