CUSTODIAN - WEST FARGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS

POSITION: Custodian - West Fargo Public Schools

TERM:12-month positions, Monday through Friday, 2:30 - 11:00 or 3:30 PM - 12:00

SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall appearance of the building by ensuring that the building is regularly and thoroughly cleaned, that light maintenance tasks are properly completed, all safety standards are upheld, and school grounds are attractively maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to perform the essential job functions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height on occasion
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Prior custodial experience preferred

SALARY: Depending on experience, starting wage is $16.50/hour - $17.60/hour plus excellent benefits and paid time off following the 2023-2024 Classified Support Staff Salary Schedule.
West Fargo Public Schools offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package. The annual salary listed for this position is the base cash salary and excludes retirement contributions. For qualified classified positions, the district contributes 8.26% of the employee’s annual salary to the North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System (NDPERS).
