The housekeeping supervisor oversees a team, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas within a facility are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness by assigning tasks, inspecting rooms, training new employees, managing cleaning supplies inventory, addressing guest concerns, and upholding safety protocols within the housekeeping department; essentially acting as the leader of the housekeeping team to guarantee a clean and well-maintained environment for guests or occupants.
