Located in the heart of Southern California, Dr. Hernandez Optometry provides our patients with professional eye care services in a comfortable and friendly environment. As a well-established business, the practice continues to grow, and a long-term opportunity is now available for the right Optometrist. We recently remodeled and have updated the entire clinic! Established in 1982, Dr. Hernandez Optometry is a prominent optometry leader in the community, known for its exceptional eye care services, top-notch products, and family-friendly atmosphere. This thriving practice prioritizes the highest standard of quality care to all patients by using the latest technology. Offering a variety of eye care services, the multi-doctor practice specializes in managing and treating medical ocular diseases, specialty contact lenses, and co-management for refractive surgeries.

What you'll do:

You'll provide the highest quality of individualized care and superior customer service to all patients. A typical day consists of 18-20 full exams, performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular disease. With access to innovative, high-tech equipment, such as OCT, Fundus Imaging, Visual Field, and Corneal Topographer, you'll confidently conduct comprehensive eye tests, ensuring precise diagnoses and tailored solutions.

Who you are:

You're a passionate and dedicated individual with a deep commitment to providing exceptional eye care and improving the vision health of the community—especially in areas where eye care is needed most. You’re certified in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and have the ability to conduct exams in Spanish; all technicians speak Spanish and can assist you with translation if needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Optometry license in the state of California
  • TPA certified
  • Ability to conduct exams in Spanish (Technicians may assist with translation)

Preferred Specialties:

  • Bilingual candidates preferred (English and Spanish)
