Work Schedule: Part-time Adjunct Instructor for Fall Semester 2025. Day and evening hours available. Days and times to be determined.

Essential Functions:

  1. Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
  2. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
  3. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment.
  4. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
  5. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Associate degree or diploma in subject area or AWS certification (IEMT degree will count), OR completion of a DOL recognized apprenticeship in steamfitters, plumbers, boilermakers, iron workers, millwrights, or sheet metal, pipefitters (with relevant material experience).
  2. 3 years non-teaching related work experience.
  3. Demonstrated effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Teaching experience.
