Job Description
- Operate tools and machines to aid in the manufacturing process.
- Perform periodic checks & documentation on equipment and solve problems as detected.
- Work with others to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with shop standards.
- Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
- Inform Supervisor of any issues with operation or quality.
- Opportunity to learn to read prints, use and read precise measuring tools and operate CNC equipment.
Skills and Qualifications
- HSD or GED.
- Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Education in Machining preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Lifting 50 lbs, standing, sitting, bending working in a factory environment.
- Forklift operation is a plus.
- Attendance: Exemplary attendance throughout the year is required for the position.
