USI/ Asteelflash is actively looking for a talented Production Supervisor to join our leadership team here in Milpitas, CA.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that production on the Box Build assembly lines meets agreed customer delivery requirements while adhering to the required quality standards. They will focus on frontline operations, driving efficiency and ensuring the consistent application of all policies, rules, and SOPs to support seamless and high-quality production outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Direct and train new employees to follow Box Build requirements.
2. Create and manage team daily workflow schedule.
3. Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
4. Direct and coordinate the utilization of manpower and equipment.
5. Organize and direct staff and plan and progress all day-to-day production activities to meet current customer requirements and resolve any production schedule issues.
6. Monitor work area to ensure productivity, quality, process, and safety standards are being followed.
7. Track and report on production, ship schedules, work-in-process, labor, and product movement.
8. Liaise with other departments and customers to recommend changes that will increase production efficiencies, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
9. Conduct data analysis, review production reports, and prepare manufacturing metrics reports.
10. Maintain the data integrity in the manufacturing metrics database.
11. Resolve day-to-day issues, including terminations, counseling, suspensions, timecard approval, manpower training, and conflict resolution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or level of knowledge that would be normally obtained from a HS degree.
2. 5-8 years' experience in a manufacturing environment as a production supervisor.

This position will be 100% onsite. The expected salary range for this position, if filled in California, is $80,000-$100,000 annually, dependent on specific skills and work experience. Apply now!
