MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking a qualified transplant infectious disease physician to join our well-established academic infectious disease practices in Washington, DC. This position provides the opportunity to work with a dedicated and highly trained team of 11 attending physicians and 4 fellows. We currently offer three separate inpatient services: a General ID / ICU Service, a Musculoskeletal Service, and a Transplant Service, in addition to a fourth Tropical Medicine Service focused on outpatient care.
In this setting, the individual selected will:
- Collaborate closely with both the MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute and the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. The MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute is one of the highest-volume organ transplant programs in the nation, having performed over 8,500 liver, kidney, pancreas, small bowel, and multi-organ transplants. The Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-Designated Cancer Center, is a premier institution for Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.
- Play an active role in the precepting and teaching of fellows, residents, and students as a faculty member in the Infectious Disease training program.

This position has a hiring range of $194,000 - $301,494.
