Location: El Segundo Pediatric Dentistry – El Segundo, CA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Description:
El Segundo Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and experienced Pediatric
Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care
to children in a warm and fun environment. If you love working with kids and helping to create

Responsibilities:
• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, including cleanings, exams, and
restorative treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC
guidelines
• Take digital dental x-rays (must be x-ray certified)
• Provide chairside assistance and ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records in our dental software system
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly office
environment

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred)
• X-ray certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to connect with children and create a positive, calming environment
• Knowledge of dental terminology, sterilization techniques, and infection control
protocols
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
