The Warehouse Manager is responsible for people development and the overall warehouse and delivery operations. This role has a broad range of responsibility in store operations and reports directly to the Assistant Manager.

  • Assists in the hiring, training and retaining of high-quality team members who exhibit our values
  • Partners with Assistant Manager to ensure a deep talent bench by continuously developing internal talent and attracting external talent
  • Leads warehouse team to ensure highest level of customer service standards are executed in home deliveries
  • Provides feedback and innovative ideas to supervisor on building a more profitable warehouse operation
  • Ensures proper execution of best practices related to delivery preparation and process
  • Assists in managing warehouse payroll within budgeted guidelines
  • Oversees unloading/loading of inbound and outbound merchandise
  • Increases completion of home delivery rate by utilizing best practices
What Will Help You Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of warehouse, delivery, or distribution leadership experience
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Proven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop and retain best in class talent
  • Proficient in business related technology systems
  • Track record of servant leadership; serving others and putting team goals first
  • Owners’ mindset: takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility while still empowering others to do the same
  • Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
  • Adaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities
