Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including payroll processing, reconciliation, and coordination of 401(k) updates and audits.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, facilitate open enrollment, and address any benefit-related inquiries.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, onboarding, and training coordination.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, and disciplinary actions. Conduct exit interviews and assist with termination processes.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and the employee handbook, ensuring consistent application and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and multi-state employment laws to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel records in accordance with retention requirements.
  • Plan and facilitate employee training and development programs.
  • Support cross-functional projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including benefits administration, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Travel up to 10-15% may be required to support hiring events or special projects at other locations.
