Description
River Region Psychiatric Associates,
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Psychiatrist to join our team, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. This role involves working across a diverse patient population with opportunities to collaborate with and supervise a team of skilled mid-level providers. The position includes a monthly weekend call rotation and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning for a broad range of patients
- Supervise mid-level providers, offering guidance and clinical support
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in a monthly weekend call rotation, supporting continuity of care
- Maintain documentation and care standards in accordance with facility policies
- *All final candidates will be background and drug screened.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active Alabama medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to provide clinical supervision and support to mid-level providers

Requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine - Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and/or Neurology
Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in working with patient population hired to serve (child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric)
License Current valid license in the respective State hired to serve with a current and unrestricted DEA registration
Salary Description
$280,000 - $350,000
