Position Details:

  • On Call Requirements:
    • Paid call, shared equitably
    • Post-call day off
  • Weekend Requirements:
    • Weekends are shared among the team
Practice Setting:
  • Facility Type: Level III trauma center with high acuity cases
  • Catchment Area: Over 320,000 residents
  • Operating Rooms: 7 ORs, Endoscopy suite, Cath Lab, nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Cases:
    • All types of anesthesia cases except heads and hearts
    • Healthy pediatrics only
    • Procedures include various types of blocks
  • Team Structure: Collaborative group of physicians and CRNAs practicing 100% independently
Work Environment:
  • Autonomy: CRNAs are expected to practice independently based on their expertise, state regulations, and facility policies

Responsibilities:
  • Administer anesthesia and related care for a variety of procedures, including general, orthopedic, and pediatric cases
  • Independently manage patient care in the operating room, endoscopy suite, and other procedural areas
  • Participate in the shared call schedule, including weekend coverage and post-call day off
Requirements:
  • Certification: Must be Board Certified as a CRNA
  • State License: Active Oregon state license or willingness to obtain
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required (no new graduates)
  • On-Call Availability: Willingness to participate in the equitable call schedule
  • Professional Skills: Independent practice in line with state regulations and facility policies
