JOB POSTING: Psychiatrist - Region 3 Location: Chillicothe, OH 45601, United States PSYCHIATRIST JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide part-time on-site psychiatric services to the male population at our facility. We are open to both part-time (minimum of 2 day shifts per week) and full-time candidates. For full-time positions, additional hours may be utilized for coverage at other facilities via telehealth or for on-site services at the male correctional facility located across the street. PSYCHIATRIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide treatment for male patients. Meet with 12-16 patients during each 8-hour shift. Work collaboratively with facility staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility protocols. Participate in facility meetings and contribute to treatment planning. Flexibility in start and end times based on the facility’s needs. PSYCHIATRIST SCHEDULE: Days: Weekdays only (no nights, weekends, or holidays). Shift: Minimum of 2 day shifts per week; full-time candidates can negotiate additional hours. PSYCHIATRIST ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: The initial assignment is projected to last 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement. Opportunity for permanent hire may be available. PSYCHIATRIST QUALIFICATIONS: Board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist. Valid Ohio Medical License. Current CPR certification. DEA certification.
