Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Dallas, TX, 100% onsite

Type of Assignment: Contract and Contract to Hire

Pay: $75K-$85K

Job Description:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting and managing a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can handle a diverse range of HR tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  2. Manage new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
  3. Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and providing guidance on HR policies.
  4. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
  5. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  6. Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback.
  7. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  9. Assist with training and development initiatives.
  10. Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR coordinator role.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance.
  4. Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR software/systems.
  7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
