Job Description:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting and managing a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can handle a diverse range of HR tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Manage new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and providing guidance on HR policies.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Assist with training and development initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR coordinator role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR software/systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
