Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a VP of HR Operations opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into our Global Corporate office in Germantown, WI.

Summary
You will lead the human resources operations, including our processes, procedures, systems, and our field HR team. Performs these functions while collaborating closely with leaders to foster employee engagement, retention, and talent acquisition to support strategic goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes HR strategies that align with the company’s mission and business goals.
- Oversees the talent acquisition process, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier candidates.
- Drives initiatives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Designs and implements retention strategies to maintain a highly skilled workforce.
- Oversees the people operations function, focusing on enhancing the employee experience and addresses employee relations concerns, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
- Provides strategic direction, leadership, and support to managers and leaders on workforce planning.
- Actively provides coaching to business leaders on how to lead their teams, navigate and resolve employee relations issues or manage programs that help develop our people.
- Keeps a finger on the pulse of employee feedback/engagement and partners with the business to come up creative solutions aligned to their specific needs.
- Other related duties.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years progressive HR leadership experience.
- Very strong change management abilities.
- Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills.
- Leads with empathy for all people aligned to a family culture of care.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Passionate about shaping culture and elevating talent.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Familiarity with various Applicant Tracking Systems and management of Talent Acquisition processes.
