3rd shift
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Systems: Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring uninterrupted power for machinery, production equipment, and lighting.
- PLC Expertise: Diagnose and program PLCs to optimize machinery performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine malfunctions and electrical issues by disassembling, adjusting, or replacing components as needed.
- Control Panel Installation: Wire control panels, distribution centers, machine controls, switches, timing devices, and lighting systems.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to execute safe and effective repairs and installations.
- Emergency Response: Make swift emergency repairs to prevent production delays when required.
- Layout and Material Management: Perform installations, create layouts, and manage bills of material based on engineering specifications.
Qualifications.
- Certification: Must be a Journeyman Electrician. Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program certified by the U.S. Department of Labor
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, with a solid understanding of electrical concepts, practices, and theory.
- Troubleshooting: Skilled in troubleshooting AC/DC electrical control circuits, transformers, relay logic, LVDT's, and programmable logic controllers.
