Peddlers Village Partnership is hiring: Sous Chef Earl's New American in Peddler

Earl's New American at Peddler's Village is in search of an experienced culinary leader to join our team as a Sous Chef. Our Sous Chefs are responsible for supporting the Executive Chef to help lead the culinary team to deliver high-quality, great tasting food and exceptional guest service. Our Sous Chefs are hands on and supervise and coordinate activities of the culinary team.
Requirements:

• Ability to assume responsibility for kitchen in absence of Executive Chef
• Ensure all menu items are executed properly, by working the line, expo and/or overseeing the team
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
• Strong passion for culinary excellence
• Proven ability to develop and lead a team
• Knowledge of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a high volume restaurant environment
