Overview
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time faculty partner to join an established practice in Greensboro and Asheboro, North Carolina. Greensboro is the 2nd largest city in North Carolina in close proximity to the mountains and sea.
Position Overview:
- Location: Greensboro and Asheboro, North Carolina.
- Clinical Focus: The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating conditions related to hand, wrist, and elbow both in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Teaching Opportunities: Orthopaedic hand fellow teaching, clinical, and laboratory research opportunities available.
- Collaboration: Join a team of 10 hand partners, 3 hand fellows with 90 total faculty, 25 orthopaedic residents, 9 podiatric residents, and 8 fellowships in the Department for seamless referrals and collaboration.
- Call Expectations: Call duties to be discussed.
- Support: APP and clinical support is provided.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or General Surgery with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity.
- License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
