Nichols Research is an established national marketing research company headquartered in the San Francisco bay area. We are seeking telephone interviewers who are able to work from home, to conduct market research surveys. As a telephone interviewer, you will conduct computer-based surveys, asking people their opinion on a variety of topics and recording their answers. We are looking for outgoing, pleasant, articulate individuals who thrive working in a stand-alone environment.

As a Telephone Interviewer, You Will:

  • Place outbound calls through our VOIP telephone software.
  • Explain the study's purpose, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Read the computer-based scripted questions clearly and verbatim.
  • Accurately record answers into the computer program.
  • Clarify vague or unclear responses.

This position does not involve any sales or telemarketing and is not commission-based. We provide paid training and flexible scheduling.

Details:

  • You must live in FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, NE, NM, OH, SC, or TX to be considered for this position. Please do not apply if you do not reside in these states.
  • Starting pay ranges from $10.00 to $14.00 per hour.
  • Pay increases based on your production and hours available to work.
  • Your work will be guided by our experienced supervisors, and calls will be monitored for quality control and training purposes.
  • Telephone interviewers with prior experience a plus.
  • Spanish bi-lingual a plus.
  • We provide the software for making the survey calls from your computer or mobile phone. You will not incur any telephone usage costs while conducting the surveys.

To be considered for the position, you will need the following:

  • Excellent reading, listening, and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependability and professionalism.
  • Good computer skills.
  • A quiet work environment in your home, free from distractions.
  • A home computer (desktop, laptop).
  • A web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
  • A good internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 10 Mbps.
  • A personal mobile phone.
  • Webcam, microphone, speakers.

Salary: $10 - $14 an hour
