HR Generalist – Manufacturing
Elizabethtown, KY | $65,000 – $85,000 (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, KY. This role will support HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for plant employees.
• Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
• Administer benefits, payroll processing, and HRIS updates.
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Coordinate safety programs and assist with workers’ compensation claims.
• Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports.
• Partner with leadership to drive HR strategies that align with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and workers’ compensation.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
