11008056D20250220 Head of Audit - Americas Location: Hartford / Stamford A unique opportunity to develop a fit for purpose audit function within the GIA framework for the AXA XL Americas business unit. To execute and report on Internal Audit activity within the AXA XL Americas business in order to provide timely, independent assurance and improve the control culture. Essential Responsibilities

Execute the annual audit plan, annual planning and committee reporting on a timely basis and in line with Group Internal Audit Methodology and quality requirements. Deliver and/or manage a team undertaking audits, annual planning, risk assessments, board and audit committee reporting, and special investigations as required by the Chief Audit Executive (CAE). Notify CAE of any barriers or challenges to delivery promptly. Manage issue tracking in line with GIA methodology and quality requirements. Identify opportunities to enhance Internal Audit processes and drive the implementation of improvements. Build and maintain relationships with business staff, stakeholders, and the Americas Audit Committee. Maintain awareness of key business objectives, activities, and risks. Stay updated on business, products, industry, and audit practice. Manage risk within the Internal Audit team, ensuring controls and processes are operated with due care and issues are identified and mitigated timely. Contribute to the coaching and development of junior team members and peers, including career development and succession planning. Foster a positive and supportive culture across the AXA XL IA team. You will report to the Chief Audit Executive AXA XL. Qualifications

Proven track record in senior management or leadership roles. Experience in insurance/reinsurance strongly preferred. Ability to solve complex problems with innovative and business-centric solutions. Demonstrate sound judgement and think objectively. Flexibility and ability to adapt to change. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to help the organization make change without detriment to controls. Build effective collaborative relationships, breaking down silos and sharing knowledge. The U.S. pay range for this position is USD $170,000 - $200,000. Actual pay will be determined based on the individual’s skills, experience, and location. Benefits
