(DG) manufactures high-quality aviation and aerospace components used on aircraft worldwide. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for stamping, labeling, and packaging parts and finished goods to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer and quality standards. This role involves operating automated packaging and labeling equipment, verifying product identification, and maintaining quality control.If you have experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or manufacturing packaging, this could be a great fit for you!Job Responsibilities:Stamp parts using VideoJet inkjet printers or rubber stamps to apply accurate identification markings.Operate AutoBaggers and other specialized packaging machines to package components efficiently.Use Label Printers and barcode scanning systems to generate and apply product labels.Ensure all labels, barcodes, and lot numbers match work orders and customer specifications.Monitor packaging quality to prevent mislabeling, incorrect packaging, or damaged parts.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control steps to maintain compliance.Meet production goals while maintaining precision and efficiency.Work with the shipping and warehouse teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.Keep accurate documentation for inventory tracking and quality assurance.Perform additional tasks assigned by management Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety DirectorRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Minimum of 1 year of experience in either a shipping, packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse role.Ability to read and follow work orders, labeling instructions, and production guidelines.Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment.Ability to stand, lift (up to 30 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.Must speak, read, write and understand English.
