Special Requirements:

Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays and Wednesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Project will accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position. This Cloud Cybersecurity Project Manager III position requires a PPM certification.

Description Of Services:

Project managers are responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of specific projects within a company. This position will manage a complex Cloud Cybersecurity project, requiring 8 or more years of advanced security project management experience, extensive experience with web information systems, information systems controls, web application development, and sound judgment to critically think and achieve goals. The project involves managing staff, including an Application/Software Developer and two Network Security Analysts.

The Cloud Cybersecurity Project Manager III will handle the project budget and timeline using enterprise portfolio project management software and coordinate with the Managed Services vendor to ensure that project implementation is on time, under budget, and within scope, accommodating the best value for the Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Compliance with the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Project Management Framework is required.

Minimum Requirements:

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 10 Years Required: Advanced security project management experience, extensive experience with the implementation of a complex DLP, web information systems, information systems controls, and sound judgment to critically think and achieve goals.
2. 8 Years Required: Ability to effectively manage a large-scale project for the implementation of a complex DLP, vulnerability management applications.
3. 8 Years Required: Managing up to three staff augmentation contractors, including two Network Security Analysts and one Application/Software Developer or Cloud Security Analyst.
4. 8 Years Required: Handle the project budget and timeline using enterprise portfolio project management software and coordinate with the Managed Services vendor to ensure that the project is on time, under budget, and within scope.
5. 8 Years Preferred: Strong knowledge and familiarity with the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Project Management Framework, ensuring compliance within Health and Human Services and DSHS Security and Information Technology Standards.
6. 5 Years Preferred: Experience designing, building, and securing web information systems using SaaS vulnerability management and DLP applications.
7. 3 Years Preferred: Familiarity with managing when resources are limited and able to handle gaps that might require independently performing a variety of complicated IT tasks.
8. 3 Years Preferred: Experience working with HHSC Security or Network Engineers at HHSC.
