We are excited to announce Middletown Medical is looking for a provider for starting a new Allergy and Immunology Department to assist the growing needs of the patient care in the region. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Allergist and Immunologist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician eager to help shape a new department and make a lasting impact in the field of allergy and immunology.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and expanding the new Allergy and Immunology Department at Middletown Medical. This is a unique opportunity to establish the foundation of an innovative program, and provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Middletown Medical has previous experience of running the Allergy Department
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for patients with a variety of allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, rhinitis, eczema, food allergies, and autoimmune diseases.
- Contribute to the development of the new department, including designing clinical protocols, establishing treatment guidelines, and implementing best practices in allergy and immunology.
- Engage in clinical research in areas of interest in allergy and immunology.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialists in a multidisciplinary care environment.
- Maintain an active role in departmental administration, including contributing to the development of department policies and programs.
- Interested to work in an underserved area
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification or board eligibility in Allergy and Immunology.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Allergy and Immunology.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in State (or eligibility for licensure).
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience in academic medicine, teaching, and clinical research is preferred but not required.
- A passion for building and expanding a new department and program within a medical institution.
