Shift: Third Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Job Summary:
Our client in Spring Hill, TN, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Third Shift Automation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting automation systems to ensure smooth operations during third shift hours. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation, robotics, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated machinery, robots, conveyors, and other automated systems.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and adjustments to ensure all automated equipment operates efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues on automated equipment.
- Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to perform diagnostics and programming adjustments.
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including wiring, motor troubleshooting, and sensor replacements.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve system issues quickly and minimize downtime.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify malfunctions and implement solutions.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment issues using company systems.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Support other team members with technical expertise as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), electrical troubleshooting, and motor controls.
- Experience with industrial robots, automated systems, and CNC equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Willingness to work third shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and on weekends if necessary.
