We are seeking a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
for a
contract role
at our
long-term care facility in Taunton, MA . This position offers
flexible scheduling , allowing the LPN to
choose their own shifts
based on availability. The ideal candidate will have
at least 1-2 years of experience
as an LPN, with preference given to those who have worked in a
skilled nursing facility, long-term care setting, or nursing home . Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring health conditions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Observe and document residents' conditions and report any changes to the supervising RN or physician. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Assist residents with daily activities such as feeding, dressing, and mobility support as needed. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure quality care. Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow appropriate protocols. Qualifications & Requirements: Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts. Minimum of 1-2 years of LPN experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, or nursing home is preferred. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to different shifts and assignments.
