Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fabrication: Perform MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques to fabricate and assemble building components.
2. Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and prepare materials accurately for welding and assembly.
3. Quality Assurance: Inspect welds and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and clean welding tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
6. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure precise execution.
7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals.
8. Process Improvement: Suggest and implement ideas for enhancing welding and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Welding certification or proven welding experience required.
3. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or similar welding techniques.
4. Strong understanding of welding tools, materials, and equipment.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
6. Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
7. Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
8. Physical stamina to handle materials, lift up to 70 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
9. Commitment to workplace safety and proactive identification of hazards.
