Job Title: Instructor for Introductory Networking Classes

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach introductory networking classes exploring informational and theoretical foundations necessary for students to comprehend an overview of the concepts, theory, principles, and practices of data communications and computer networks.
  2. Prepare students seeking an Associate of Applied Science degree in networking and cybersecurity.
  3. Cover topics including hardware (servers, switches, and routers), networking software (operating systems such as Linux and Microsoft), protocols, services, scripting, network management, virtualization, cloud computing, and security.
  4. Availability to teach courses offered in the fall, spring, and summer.

Pay Rate: Adjunct Level 1 $1,085 per credit hour

Campus Locations: Essex & Catonsville

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Master’s degree required in a related discipline.
  2. Two years of full-time college-level teaching experience in the discipline or equivalent adjunct teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. CompTIA Security+ certification.
  2. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)).
  3. Online teaching experience.
