We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Residential Household Goods Salesperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating the majority of your own leads by developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with sources that operate in the same space. Your goal will be to drive sales and grow our customer base by promoting and selling our moving services to residential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively generate and qualify new leads through creative networking with various sources such as real estate agents, property managers, senior living facilities, home builders, designers, home security companies, restoration companies, and more.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct in-home or virtual sales presentations to prospective customers, providing them with detailed information about our moving services, pricing, and value propositions.
- Customer Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with leads and prospects regularly to provide updates, answer questions, and address any concerns they may have.
- Contract Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and agreed upon by both parties.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards sales targets using CRM software.
- Business Contribution: When not outside the office selling and prospecting, contribute and participate actively with colleagues in the business, sharing insights, collaborating on projects, and supporting overall business operations.
- Community Presence: Strive to be the most recognized and referred person in the area by building a strong personal brand and establishing a positive reputation within the community.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in a service industry/business.
- Networking: Strong understanding if the importance of developing and maintaining a network of contacts that generates regular leads and opportunity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse clients.
- Self-Motivation: Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage leads and sales activities.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: Competitive base salary provided for up to 18 months.
- Commission: Transition to full commission-based compensation after the initial 18-month period, offering competitive commission rates and the potential for significant earnings based on performance.
Work Schedule:
- Expected work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, but, flexibility is needed and expected to maximize productivity and meet the needs of the prospects interested in our services. This means weekends and nights are necessary to achieve successful results.
